Frequently asked questions
Does the crop preserve quality?
Yes. We crop at full source resolution and re-encode at quality 90 by default, so the cropped output is sharp and clean.
Can I crop to a custom ratio?
Yes. Pick Free on the crop tab and drag any rectangle you want. Or pick one of the preset ratios for a clean snap.
Does it work on mobile?
Yes. The crop area supports touch drag and pinch zoom on phones and tablets.
Can I keep transparency on a PNG crop?
Yes. Switch the output format to PNG on the Output tab to preserve alpha.
How long is the result kept?
The cropped image is auto-deleted after 7 days. Re-download is available during that window via the secure link.
