Frequently asked questions
Which cleanup mode should I pick?
Use Magic for everyday phone photos of documents (auto-whitens the background and keeps colour), B & W for printed text where you want crisp black ink on white, Grayscale for mixed text-and-image documents you want flattened, and Gentle when you just want a light normalise without changing the look.
Can I get a PDF instead of an image?
Yes. Set Format to PDF in the Output tab and we'll wrap the cleaned image into a single-page PDF sized to fit the source.
Does it deskew or auto-crop?
Not in this version. Quarter-turn rotation is supported, and you can use the Image Resizer crop tool first if you need to trim the edges.
What file types can I upload?
JPG, PNG, WebP, and HEIC photos up to 25 MB. EXIF orientation is honoured automatically so the output isn't sideways.
How long is my file kept?
Uploaded photos and cleaned outputs are auto-deleted after 7 days. Re-download is available during that window via the secure link.
