Frequently asked questions
Can I crop one page differently from the rest?
Each cropping job uses one rectangle. To crop different pages differently, run the tool twice with different page ranges, or split the PDF first.
Does it work on PDFs with mixed page sizes?
Yes. The crop is applied proportionally, so a 50% wide crop stays 50% wide on every page regardless of the underlying paper size.
Will the text stay selectable after cropping?
Yes. The crop sets a new visible window on the existing page, the underlying content is not rasterised or re-rendered, so any selectable text and embedded fonts are preserved.
Can I use aspect-ratio presets?
Yes. Pick from Free, 1:1, 4:3, 16:9, A4 portrait, or A4 landscape and the crop rectangle locks to that shape while you drag.
Can I crop to a specific page range only?
Yes. Choose 'All pages', 'First page only', or set a custom 'From page' and 'To page' range.
Is there a file size limit?
Files up to 50 MB are supported.
How long is my file kept?
Your input and the cropped PDF are both auto-deleted after 7 days. Re-download is available during that window via the secure link.
