Frequently asked questions
Does the QR track scans?
No. We encode the URL directly into the QR, with no redirect, no analytics, and no tracking. Scans go straight to your link.
What error-correction level should I pick?
M (15%) is fine for clean printed QRs. Pick H (30%) for QRs that may get scuffed, partly obscured, or printed at small sizes.
How big should I print the QR?
Roughly 1 cm of QR for every metre of scanning distance. A poster QR scanned from 3 m away should be at least 3 cm wide.
Can I change the colours?
Yes. Pick foreground and background colours. Keep strong contrast (dark on light is safest) so the QR scans reliably.
How long is the result kept?
The QR PNG is auto-deleted after 7 days. Re-download is available during that window via the secure link.
