PDF Splitter
Extract a chosen page range from a PDF and download just those pages.
Upload a PDF, pick the pages you want to keep (click thumbnails or type a range like 1-3, 5, 8-10), and download a new PDF containing only those pages, in their original order. The pages you keep keep their original text, images, and quality.
How it works
- Upload your PDF to see a thumbnail of every page.
- Click the pages you want to keep, or type a range like 1-3, 5, 8-10.
- Unlock the result and download the extracted PDF.
Use cases
- Pull a single chapter out of a long report.
- Extract just the signed pages from a contract for your records.
- Pull the appendix out of a thesis to share separately.
- Save only the relevant invoice pages out of a merged bank statement.
- Lift a few diagrams from a long PDF to attach to an email.
Frequently asked questions
Can I pick non-contiguous pages?
Yes. Click any combination of thumbnails or type a mixed range like '1-3, 5, 8-10' and the output PDF will contain exactly those pages in ascending order.
Does the extracted PDF keep selectable text?
Yes. The pages you keep are copied as-is, so any selectable text in the input stays selectable in the output.
How is this different from PDF page remover?
Same engine, opposite mental model. The remover asks 'which pages should go?', the splitter asks 'which pages should I keep?'. Pick whichever feels more natural for what you're doing.
Can I split into multiple files at once?
Each run produces one output PDF with the pages you selected. To produce two separate files (for example pages 1-5 and pages 6-10), run the splitter twice with different selections.
Is there a file size limit?
Files up to 50 MB are supported. That fits most multi-hundred-page PDFs.
How long is my file kept?
Your input and the extracted PDF are both auto-deleted after 7 days. Re-download is available during that window via the secure link.
