App Store Screenshot Resizer
Resize app screenshots to App Store pixel sizes and Google Play formats.
Upload an app screenshot, choose a current Apple pixel-size preset or a Google Play 9:16, 16:9, or feature-graphic preset, and resize it for your store-listing workflow. Review the final file against the store's format and content rules before upload.
How it works
- Upload your app screenshot from phone, simulator, or emulator.
- Pick an Apple device-size preset or a Google Play screenshot or feature-graphic preset.
- Use JPEG for an opaque output, review the store's content rules, then unlock and download.
Use cases
- Resize an accepted iPhone 6.9 inch screenshot to 1290x2796 for App Store Connect.
- Create a 1080x1920 portrait screenshot that follows Google Play's recommendation format.
- Make an accepted 13 inch iPad screenshot at 2064x2752.
- Resize a Google Play feature graphic to the required 1024x500 pixels.
Frequently asked questions
What sizes does Apple App Store require?
Apple accepts several device-specific sizes. Included presets cover 6.9 inch iPhone at 1290x2796, 6.5 inch iPhone at 1284x2778, 6.3 inch iPhone at 1179x2556, and 13 inch iPad at 2064x2752, with landscape options for the primary 6.9 inch iPhone and 13 inch iPad sizes.
What sizes does Google Play require?
Google Play accepts JPEG or 24-bit PNG screenshots without transparency. Each screenshot must be 320 to 3840 pixels per side, with the long side no more than twice the short side. For recommendation eligibility, Google advises at least four 1080x1920 portrait or 1920x1080 landscape screenshots. The feature graphic is exactly 1024x500.
Should I use PNG or JPEG for store screenshots?
Both stores accept JPEG and PNG, but neither accepts transparency in screenshots. This page defaults to a high-quality JPEG with a white background so the output is opaque. If you switch to PNG, make sure the final file has no alpha channel.
Can I add a device frame or marketing text?
Not in this tool. It focuses on resizing to accepted or recommended dimensions. Compose frames or text separately, then confirm the final asset still follows each store's content rules.
How long is my file kept?
Uploaded files and generated results are auto-deleted after 7 days.
